This was pretty much what I was looking for and can easily adapt devices to it to achieve my goals. It's sturdy and clamped nicely to the metal surfaces that I needed to so long as I added a wee bit of moisture in the suction cup.

Ich benutze den Saugknopf um meine Balkontür von außen zuzuziehen. Selbst bei dieser Kälte hält er bombenfest. Das einzige was ich bemängeln könnte wäre der Griff. Aber das sieht man ja auf dem Bild daß er keinen hat. Deshalb auch die volle Punktzahl.

Much better than those little office supply suction cups. BTW the small suction cups that come with most cell phone tools kits will not even come close to getting the phone apart. This is the right tool for the job. Glad I invested in it. I have saved a lot of my fixing my phone.
