Locks securely onto sockets and prevents them from being dropped for undisturbed work and improving accuracy and efficiency when working.
Radius Corner Design
Reduces wear and increases torque on fasteners by placing force on fastener walls rather than fastener corners, avoid stress concentrations that can cause cracking.
Detent Grooves
Four detent grooves in the socket drive end provide a secure connection with spring-loaded detent balls of a drive tool, ensures the sockets won't slide or drop.

I had something to assemble, but only had a 1/4" drive socket set that had no 17mm sockets which I required. I had 1/2 sockets that were 17mm, but .no wrench. There were several ways to solve this problem. It was more economical for the current task at hand to purchase these adaptors. They worked just fine and will continue to be used in the near future until I find it better to replace my missing 1/2" drive wrench.

This is a special situation adaptor when you want to use a 1/4inch ratchet with a 1/2inch socket without using 2 adaptors to get the job done.not a common need but nice to have in your tool box for a reasonable price

I used this with a lb*in torque meter and a large socket to measure the rolling torque on a differential pinion shaft. It works great for this. Recommended!
