Information

  1. When drilling, the drilled holes must not be repeated again. Otherwise, the drilled holes cannot be rounded, and the inside of the drilled holes will be blocked by paper scraps.
  2. Reasons for the blockage of punch drills: Papers are not tidy and uneven; gaskets are not put in right place or lubrication are not enough etc.; punched papers cannot be punched repeatedly; If the drilling size is small, the pressing rod speed should be slower; the drilling time is too long; the thickness of the drilling paper is too thick.
  3. Please wear work clothes and protective glasses to prevent the skin and eyes from being injured. Heat is generated during the drilling process. When the product is rotating, it is strictly prohibited to touch it by hand.

  1. Widely used in punching tags, photo albums, wall & desk calendars, account books, and handbags. Suitable for ordinary paper, offset paper, coated paper, grease film paper, leather, fabric etc..
  2. The stacking thickness of the offset paper should be 80% of the punching thickness, 60% for base paper, 40% or less for grease film or glazing paper. For example: drill bit with 6mm punching diameter and 50mm punching length (thickness). The total thickness of offset paper to be drilled should be 40mm; the master paper or base paper should be 30mm; and the film or glazing paper should be less than 20mm.

With the straight sides I’ve chucked this in my drill press and it works great for those times you want to have a hole in a pad or book. Works great for those occasional times you want a hole in something too thick for a punch.

The box was clearly labeled "7mm", but the paper drill inside was 5.5mm, labeled as such on its protective tube, and as measured with calipers. For unrelated reasons, I missed the return window, which is my fault... but still not impressed. uxcell usually does better than this.

I used this drill bit for putting 7mm holes in a sectional chart for a METAR map. Important to note this requires a drill with a large chuck. Be sure to dig out the debris after each hole or the bit could overheat and snap. The bit worked well for ~30 holes drilled and the map looks great because of it. Would recommend for a similar project.

I used this to build a metarmap and while it worked good on the photo paper it had a hard time cutting cleanly through the cardboard. It also took a really long time for each cut. Not sure if that was my technique or an issue with the bit but was not the most impressed. At the end of the day it got the job done but wouldn’t recommend
