The cable works but the threaded metal screw posts and their plastic caps are low quality. One of the posts on mine always binds when you try to screw it in, which makes it difficult to screw it in all the way, and can result in a bad connection. The plastic caps are soft so take care if you use any tool to tighten the plug or else the plastic will bend and tear.

Bonne longueur de câble et belle fabrication de qualité. Très utile pour raccorder un ordinateur à une cnc,par exemple. La longueur permet de mettre la tour éloigné de la machine sans soucis.

It works as expected. This old printer cable also happens to be the industry standard interface cable for laser projectors. The new com box from Pangolin goes from this serial cable from the laser to the com box that is part of the Pangolin kit to a USB port on your computer. SO DO NOT BUY A CABLE ADVERTISED AS A LASER COMS CABLE. Just because of that name they are 100% more expensive. Just search for old printer cables and you will get it for a few bucks since it is very old technology that not many people use. I think it also is used for Mach3 CnC interface as well! So the same rule applies!

Our mistake...wrong type of cable for our needs.The cable appears to be well made. Hubby decided to keep it in case he had another use for it.
