Purchased these for a rc project to use for an impeller driveshaft. A little disappointed in the quality regarding runout. I had to sort through quite a few to get a straight one.

This product was used as an axle for a small electric car for a school project and worked well. The rods were of a very consistent diameter and very straight.

6 out of the ten rods are bent and unusable for my project. Not sure if this happened during manufacturing or during shipping. Very disappointing.

Not stainless steel. Got rust and spoilt my complete setup just because it was not the material they are claiming it to be.

I am a gunsmith and I needed to work on a 1914 "Ruby" pistol that was very rusted and my customer wanted this gun restored. I needed to replace 3- 2 mm pins to accomplish this as this weapon was manufactured in Spain in the metric system. While these rods were designated for a different purpose, my micrometer showed them to be a nearly precise 2 mm in diameter overall! Cut to length, the new pins fit perfectly and being stainless, they will never rust, making them ideal for this purpose. Should I need rods of other sizes in the future, I will definitely order stock from Uxcell at Amazon.com. as I am completely satisfied with them.
