I bought this to replace the original one on my Precision Matthews PM-935 milling machine. It was a perfect fit. The holes on the mounting flanges were an exact match to those on my mill. I just unwrapped it, and 5 minutes later it was installed. No fussing, etc. It also appears that the rubber is slightly thicker, so it may be of better quality than the original.

It can only extend to about 11". Everything after that will need a lot of force to extend to the 19" as described. Besides that, the quality looks okay.

Bought to make covers for my lathe ways. Cut the width in half to make the cover I needed and therefore leaving me with a spare. The material feels robust and does the job I needed it for.

The cover itself is very nice. It's about 16" wide so I had to cut it to fit the ways of my mini lathe. Stretched out it is almost 2 feet long (3" scrunched closed) so I had to cut it again for shorter length. I attached both ends - two 6mm tapped holes on the carriage and 2 more under the chuck. It 'accordions' like you would expect and oil seems to have no effect on it - 3 years and it looks new. It's OK and looks pretty but...If I did it over I would save the money and time and just follow Stefan Gotteswinter's (YouTube) example and just plop down a piece of old chamois soft leather and use a couple magnets to hold it on the carriage.

I used it to cover the ways on my lathe and it works perfectly. It's soft and flexible just like you need and you can cut it into smaller strips.
