It is a temp sensor; it plugs in....correct range for stock PCM.Be very careful when connecting, very little pressure required to spin the connector in the housing and cause the sensor to fail or read ridiculous values. Otherwise an excellent replacement.

Quick and easy replacement for the original sensor. Works great, and only took about five minutes to get it replaced.Although…my issue was apparently not sensor related. The gauge needle was pressed against the face, not allowing it to move. You may need to check this on yours too.
