I bought this to repair the grip on my wife's cane. I put down a layer of silicone tape, then pulled this over and hit it with a heat gun to shrink it. It didn't shrink perfectly as a couple of wrinkles remain, but works well enough. The texture is good for a cane grip.

This was ordered for our new hand held shower head. The new head has only a smooth chrome surface, making it very difficult to hold with a wet, soapy hand. The Uxcel heat shrink covering created an easy to hold surface and was easy to shrink to conform with the shower handle. My SO used boiling water which did the job quickly. I can see that the covering is not very durable but it has held up well for a month now and we have plenty in reserve from the order. We are also not fond of the color/pattern choices. We would have preferred something more discrete.
