Paid full price for a new weaving frame - received a half-assembled frame with a weave that was already started by someone but abandoned. Red and white yarn on frame, green yarn in its packaging. Not sure what else was supposed to be in the package so maybe more things are missing. Was delivered without any additional packaging/boxes/bags other than the manufacturer's box.

This is a nice starter kit. It comes with everything you need, except decent instructions. If you know what you're doing you're all set. However, if you don't, you'll be spending time on YouTube. It's a nice size that fits on your lap or on a table easily.

This wooden loom comes pre-assembled, with warp threads all ready to go and a small amount of weaving done. The shuttle is loaded with a small amount of yarn too. All you need to do is insert the heddle and start weaving.The loom comes with a heddle; two shuttles (one pre-loaded with yarn); an extra ball of yarn; a comb; and some very basic instructions. If you are a beginner, like me, the instructions will not be sufficient to get you started. You will need to look elsewhere for more information.The loom feels very nice and sturdy. I like that it is possible to take it apart if need, but it is very compact and easy to store as is. The wood is smooth, and I've had no issues with yarn getting caught on it.

If you wanted to learn how to weave, this kit might be a good way to start. It comes with an assembled small frame with yarn already attached to it along with a heddle bar, weft, comb and extra yarn. It’s a nice little set for kids and adults alike. The problem is unless you have a teacher or can find weaving videos on the Internet, you will be lost with the instructions that come with this kit. There are nice photos, but too confusing and inadequate. Why doesn’t this seller have a demonstration video on their Amazon page? It’s the least they could have done.

So my picture doesn’t really do it justice since it’s just the box. It’s not super big, maybe 9x12 so it’s perfect for a tabletop or your lap. It appears well made and includes some yarn for practice. There are detailed instructions with pictures but the explanation isn't quite clear… I’ll just watch a YouTube video so it’s not a big deal. The weaving isn’t the confusing part for me, it’s the starting and finishing that I’m not sure on. Overall, I’m very happy with this and I’m excited to start my first project.
