OE. Exactly the same as the original. Brought my truck back to life! Brand new starter. I noticed for a while my old starter was hesitant at times. But now it starts right up and sounds great. My old one was very corroded, but the one I received was exactly the same but nice and new!

Purchased April 5th, 2025. The starter was a perfect fit and as of May 1st, 2025 functions perfectly with no issues. Will update if needed.

Before purchasing this starter I purchased another one from Amazon that was half the price of this one however, when it was delivered and I opened up the box, right away I could tell it looked slightly different then my OEM starter but I decided to instal it anyways and give it a try... the starter worked and started my truck however, there was a high pitch sound that it would make for a split second after you start the vehicle and then it would go away but every time you start it it would make that weird noise. So I returned that one and decided to order this one and give this one a try.... when this one arrived, upon opening up the box... just based on visual analysis this started looked identical as my OEM Starter. Instalation was a breeze and it starts my truck every time with no issues and no weird noises. I would highly recommend this starter and definitely would buy again!!!

Bought this starter on July 10 allegedly new appeared used. Installed on July 11th, very easy to install, and worked pretty good. I’m not sure how long it will last. As of August 4th it’s already starting to give signs of failure such as rough starting. Will update in one month whether it’s still working or fails.

This was a great purchase! Came quickly and fit our vehicle. Working great after 3 months at literally a 6th of the price from the shop!

Same starter that came with my 2017 Silverado 1500 5.3 engine, straight from Mexico. So far it starts the truck fine and install was a piece of cake. Price was great also half the cost from GM.

My GMC Sierra was randomly not starting. Sometimes it would start by remote and not ignition. Other times by the ignition, but not remote. The only thing to get it going was a sharp jolt from a battery charger (even though the battery was fully charged). Put this starter in it's working great. Please note that the nut for the negative cable doesn't come with the starter so don't lose it off the old one you're taking out !
