Works fine, yes you have to drill out the holes alittle but doesn’t bother me, was cheap and came next day, took 5 mins including finding the drill bit I needed just to open them up alittle, did the job

Tool is not even drilled correctly for valve position in head. Tool would not compress springs to remove valve keepers, upper plate hits the mounting bolts for the bottom piece of tool that bolts to head. I would personally not recommend this tool for anything, garbage.

The holes on this item are evenly spaced 90deg apart, but the Valves on the 5.9l diesel are not, having the intake valves closer together. the manufacturer new this as the mount has reliefs cut into it.

Don’t buy this. It is complete junk. The holes do not like up over the springs properly to compress them. Do not buy!

Delivery and transaction with seller was great but tool is designed and made incorrectly. This tool has symmetrical holes all evenly spaced apart. The Cummins 24 valve head valve stems are not symmetrical therefor tool will only align with a couple stems at a time. I tried tooling multiple orientations before measuring tool and confirming the issue

Upon first glance the item looks decent but that’s where it ended! Holes don’t line up with the recesses of the valve spring retainers; tried multiple orientations and nothing. Ended up having to modify the openings to actually make use of the tool…what joke!

I had to drill the centre hole out, and widen the holes for the keepers. I’d recommend buying a quality tool.
