I love these sticks. My son says they are a little top heavy but I really like that.

I am constantly throwing sticks away not because I broke them, but because the tips chip and all the sudden there is a dead, soundless hit on my ride. I have tried all sizes and shapes of tips with or without coating. Then I found timbale sticks and thought they would be the answer, but they were too thin. So I started playing with my sticks upside down, but the taper messes with your grip. Finally I found these bad boys. I hope they keep selling them because this solves everything. They are slightly bulkier than I would prefer, but I would rather error on this thickness than timbale thinness.

I bought these because they were the closest I could find to the Zildjian Absolute Rock sticks I have been using for years and are no longer made. Strangely enough, I use these massive sticks on an e-kit. I tried timbale sticks but they were just too thin. I prefer the diameter of these sticks.As other reviewers have stated, the sticks are unlacquered and the ends are not exactly rounded but that can easily be fixed by sanding.

Think heavy timbale sticks. These are a nicely weighted drum stick for precision rock playing.

These things are BEASTLY! Very durable. If you want volume look at these sticks. Four star because they’re not for everyone.
