4 STAGE- CHARGE & MAINTAIN MODES:
INITIALIZTION: When you plug in, the battery charger Detects the battery-how much is this battery need, what percentage is battey currently sitting at.
BULK CHARGE: The battery charger will give its maximum amount of jucie into that battery until that battery gets up to a certain level.
ABSORPTION: The battery maintainer will slow the rate of jucie that pushing out to that battery and give it a small tickle of jucie without overheating.
FLOAT: Maintainer the battery, periodically check back and find the voltage of the battery. If the battery maintainer finds it needs a new charge. The battery maintenance charger will start that process all over again

Great product as I've bought them before. Only problem was I couldn't plug it into a standard Australian power socket. I had to buy an adapter which has added more cost to it . And I'm not real happy about that.

I purchased this item to maintain the battery of my motorcycle charged when not in use. It has a cable the can be permanently attached to the battery terminal. You connect the other end to the charger when you want to use it. The other cable has alligator clamps that you can attach to a car battery. Only problem is the clamps don’t open wide enough to the cable ends on the battery terminals. So you either disconnect the battery cables or you clamp the terminals at an angle. The unit has enough power output to charge a weak battery in a couple of hours. It is fully automatic and it lets you know if the battery is bad, that it is charging and when it is reaching full charge. Used it to charge the battery on my truck that was low and it worked great.

After owning several different brands of 12VDC chargers, I have purchased 6 of these and use them to keep my cars, motorcycle, snowblower starter and 12000 watt generator battery start trickle charged. Great value, great $. A must have.I use it with a timer plug so it's not constantly on at my vacation home.

Works great for keeping my battery bank topped off when in storage. Won't bring it back from being dead (3 volts on a 12 volt battery). Like the lights and easy to use, hook up the gator clips, plug it in and walk away.
