This fan and blower wheel fit perfectly. Took about 10 minutes to install. It’s very quiet and I wish I had done this a long time ago. Highly recommend

Fit and function are perfect, and my first one worked for 3 years before the bearings failed. Just for the record, the OEM motor bearings lasted ~30 years. So for this 2nd motor it's now about $10/yr, and that's better than replacing the whole fan housing.

Unlike the experience Jim C wrote about in his review, this unit fit just fine in my 665N. I didn't have to swap in old parts. I'm not sure what made the difference. The overall depth of the fan assembly (from bracket mounts to the top of the blower wheel) was indeed a couple millimeters longer than the failed part I was replacing. Nonetheless, nothing obstructs the wheel, and it's spinning away happily in my bathroom as I write this.

Nicely done - an obscure part/motor that was available and came in five days. Its a great 605N Broan NuTone replacement, it Works! (purchased 01/2024). I plugged it in before installing to make sure it work. It is quieter and fit perfectly. It may be a good idea to size them up side by side when you get it. The price was a bit much ($80) in that you can buy fans with lights new for as low as $130. But the new fan motor was easy to put in and seems to works better than the prior burned out one. Not doing a new fan saved me from having a handy man put one in and reconnect to the roof outlet. If anything comes up I will update this review.

The new motor fit perfectly. The holes lined up and installed in minutes. It runs so much quietly. The best part was it only took 1 day to be delivered. Some internet part companies said the model was obsolete. But the replacement motor was found on prime .This fit my nutone model #668N

I have been having a hard time finding a replacement for my Broan-Nutone 665N that was discontinued. I rolled the dice on this one and it fit. It comes with the motor and a new blower fan that matched the dimensions from the old 665N that I had. The only trouble I had was I needed to use my old bracket to install it, otherwise it did not fit properly with the new bracket it came with. The fan blower did not insert into the fan hole causing properly causing the fan not to spin. Once I used my old bracket and installed it, everything worked like a charm. Be sure you keep your old bracket and parts just in case.
