Works great. I accidentally bought the 5" first so measure carefully. Fits like a glove. I spray foam inside before I sealed it with this. I sanded lightly and then spray painted (several layers) to blend in better with my siding. The vent was no longer being used and I didnt need cold air coming into the house.

The 4" Galvanized Steel End Cap fit perfectly into my dryer duct on the inside wall. My house had it's original ducting running over 25 feet with multiple bends up to the next floor then outside creating issues with flow. I used this to cap the old one and ran a new one straight outside my home. All is good with no more drafts coming from my old ducting.

I recently switched to a ventless dryer, but I wanted to plug the dryer vent to the outdoors to prevent bugs and other things from easily getting into the house. The cap slipped into the pipe smoothly and snugly, and required no additional taping or work to keep it in place.

We had a baby raccoon stuck in a chimney flue that had been sealed up. However, there is a stove flue vent that he got into and trapped. We got him out and decided to close the vent opening. The cap I bought fit perfectly to close the vent opening.

Used to cap a chimney after wood stove was removed. Fit perfectly and the rubber gasket helped make a tighter fit for less chance of rain leaking in. Underside of cap was also sealed with clear silicon around the inside edge. Good quality and well made.

I love this product! I used it to seal off a section of ductwork. It has a thick rubber seal that seals tight. It was perfect for my needs.
