About this item

  • Lightweight portable lifts are great for hundreds of applications
  • Manual cable winch easily raises and lowers forks
  • Counterbalance weight design keeps unit from tipping with heavy loads
  • Hold-down device secures carriage during transport

The Vestil A-LIFT-R-HP standard hand winch lift truck can be used to transport a pallet of goods, and it has a steel and aluminum frame, a hand-crank winch, six wheels, and two steel forks that can be raised or lowered to an optimal height for loading or unloading. The hand-crank winch has a reversible handle that can be used to raise or lower the forks by 1 inch with each complete revolution. A pivoting latch secures the fork carriage for transport. The forks can be inverted to adjust the service range. The two front wheels measure 2 inches in diameter and swivel for maneuverability. The two rear wheels measure 8 inches in diameter. Two loading wheels near the top of the frame allow the lift truck to be loaded into a truck bed for transport. This material lift has a load capacity of 400 lb., weighs 140 lb., and measures 68 x 24 x 35 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It has a service range of 23-1/2 to 120 inches high with the forks up and 3-1/2 to 98-7/16 inches high with the forks down. Each fork measures 1-3/4 x 4 x 22 inches (H x W x D). The width between the forks is 13 inches. The outside fork width is 21-1/2 inches. This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.

Material lifts typically comprise a vertical metal frame and two forks that can support a pallet of goods and that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height for loading or unloading. The forks may be controlled with a hand crank or a foot pump, and they can sometimes be inverted to adjust the service range. Wheels allow the material lift to be rolled for moving materials. Some material lifts have special wheels on the frame can that enable it to be loaded into a delivery truck for transport. Material lifts can be used in warehouses, storerooms, shipping facilities, and other industrial environments.

Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.

Update 2021:it is been more than 2 years and still believe nothing works better than this lift when you are working with 10 foot tall ceilings.Works and performs good.................When you need a extra hand look no further tough.I use this lift exclusively at my work. When i have to work alone this is the tool i bring with me.Sometimes the project requires extra hand other than a worker and you will fail without this lift.Glad i have it.

I would have given this product 5 stars, but for me this will not be the perfect solution to my garage/attic storage. The product details state that maximum height is 117 inches but that is only with the forks flipped upside down. In the normal placement (forks down) the height is 96 inches (8') to the top of the forks. I need the forks to lift to 105" to reach/clear my attic door. I can reach the desired height with this unit but I will not be able to load heavy items from the ground level. I will have to lift them up to place them on the forks. This will be impossible by myself. I called the Vistil company and they said I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee if I returned it, even if I purchased their unit that lifted to the height that I needed. One more note, if you purchased the optional deck platform it does not fit while the forks are upside down. The forks tilt slightly down to the front as well with the fork flipped.

The lift is great I use it sometimes, once a week and it allows me to do my work by myself, Lift the unit into place and do it in a safe manner rather than buy muscle power.

Right at load limit with 51/2 X 12 X 19’ glulams.... Vestil designed a good lift but underside of forks when turned around does not allow straight pick... requires modified blocking to get full extension capabilities or spacing to allow for head room between load and forks in std position

Love this machine. Does as advertised, built well, shipped fast. I own a one man (me) HVAC&R shop. This is my first "lift" of this type. Now, I can lift heavy and awkward items up to place them. Before, a job as in the pictures, would have taken at least 4 people, endangering all 4 of us, if one person lost grip or whatever. Now, I can do these jobs solo, saving me a lot of time and money. Even with this tool, I use extreme caution once the load is up high, safety First! This tool is amazing!!!

Purchased this so that I could lower items from shelves that I could no longer handle with just a ladder as age is setting in. This is just the greatest thing since buttered popcorn! It has been a great arm and shoulder saver and I would recommend this for anyone needing that extra help when no one is around to really help. Had a bad weldment on one of the forks and notified the manufacturer. We sent a digital picture of the situation and they immediately sent out a correct piece to fix the problem. Their customer service was excellent. You can tell by the service as well as their products, MADE IN the USA, that they take great pride in what they are making and selling. I strongly suggest buying this product if you need help moving and storing things.

I could not resist getting one of these when I saw amazon sold it direct. The shipping was only 100 dollars which is a bargain compaired to what Global and some of the others would have charged at the time. And the unit price was identical. It arrived on a long narrow skid with 2 other small boxes strapped to it. The boxes contain the stabilizer legs which slid on and then pinned as well as the fork legs which slid onto 2 horizontal rods and then cottered in place. The final step of assembly is undoing a retaining screw then putting the winch handle on and refixing the screw. Assembly could not be easier. The unit seems really solid despite its light weight. I injured my shoulder so I keep all my heavy garage tools and boxes on 24"x36" pallets I make from scrap wood and use this to lift them onto a shelving unit when not in uses. If you have the spare cash lying around and have ever injured your back or shoulder I highly recommend making yourself a little baby pallet rack and storing your gear on there with one of these as well.
