Bought this for the new Roku Cause my tv in the living room isn't a HDMI

The quality is horrible, but it works for hooking my roku to my tv because our HDMI ports stopped working.

We used this device to transfer VHS tapes before the tapes degrade too much. This device made the job, VERY EASY, connecting cables was a cinch and the included SD card allowed me to copy several VHS tapes to the SD card. The display allowed me to check on the progress of transfer process to the SD card (or I could have inserted a jump drive if I needed more storage space). While you still have to monitor the transfer process, you can start the VHS player, watch the display to ensure the transfer is beginning and then check on the progress on occasion. I'm VERY pleased with this device!

The HDMI port quit working on my old LG TV, and I had an open AV port, so I bought this instead of spending a ton of money repairing an old TV. Your results may vary - This works well on my TV, which has 1098p resolution. I don't think you will get muck more than that of a 4K resolution TV. You can't beat it for the price, though!

Weder mit den kurzen mitgelieferten noch mit testweise eingesetzten eigenen Kabeln ist dem Ding irgendeine Funktion zu entlocken. Ich ärgere mich über Zeitaufwand für Bestellung, für versuchte Inbetriebnahme und dann auch noch Rücksendung. So einen Mist braucht niemand.

I needed a aux to hdmi cable to put my firestick on my TV. I only had 2 hdmi ports and needed a way to attach the Firestick. This worked perfectly and just what I needed. Thank you

Pues mi televisor es sumamente antiguo y funciona muy bien para poder ver el cable y me sirvió también el otro cable para conectar la computadora y ver las plataformas de entretenimiento

I have other devices similar to this but have to use external RCA cables. I thought this would help clean up some of the mess of wires. However, when I plug in the HDMI cable into the adapter, it causes the AppleTV to loose power. I tested this with multiple HDMI cables and two AppleTVs, same issue. The mfg/seller has not responded to my multiple attempts at support and now it's too late to return the 5 of them I purchased. :(

Please note that the seller did not give me any benefits or any sorts of discount for my review of the purchase of this recorder. I am giving it an honest opinion for my extensive usage experience so that the future buyers would know the pros and cons before they make the buying decision. The reasons I gave it a 5 stars are the followings:1). It comes with everything you need includes a 50G sd card. A user manual, HDMI cable, charging cable with a transformer, a red, white & yellow RCA plugs for analog output source with a 3.5 mm male plug on other end for the recorder’s input( looks like an earphone jack) and it works fine.2). It’s small and light so it is easy to carry around but it doesn’t come with a carrying pouch or box for protection.3). The recorder is very easy to use. It can record vcr tapes and dvd videos to sd cards( have not try the usb memory stick yet). Plug the 3 colors cable to the vcr output source and plug the 3.5mm male plug into the record’s AV input(it works fine). Also, you can record dvd digit videos by using the provided HDMI cable output and plug it into the recorder directly. I used it for approximately 10 hours a day non stop for 7 days and it’s still alive and kicking. You can delete a single file or all files, set it for AV or HDMI, 1080p or 720p, the screen has a choice of showing time stamp and the length of the memory remaining. The file numbers on screen also. There’s also a few other settings that is easy to set.4). It can handle up to 126G size sd card. I tried with a higher memory size sd card and failed. I think126G is good enough. You get almost 21 hours of recordings if you set it at 720p which is not much difference than1080p(10 hours). But, remember, Micro sd card might not work if you use it for a while. It will give you messages like please format card or no card. It might not recognize it.5). Great seller’s quick responses to questions. Seller responded almost immediately to my questions.I rated it a 4 stars at first because below unsatisfactory situations but since the seller responded so fast therefore I decided to give a 5 stars rating, but I do have 5 below unsatisfied situations. But these unsatisfactory did not prevented me to rate the recorder with less stars because it had exceeded my minimum needs.1). The battery life only lasts approximately 1hour and 15 minutes.2). I need to reset it a few times to get it working again. That is after a few days of extensive used.3). This is not a dvd burner. You need to wait for the total time length of the video to finish the recording and that’s waste of time.*** 4). Important — For 1080p setting - It cuts off( blanks out) for 1 second and continues a second file after 24 minutes of recording and 50 minutes 25 seconds for 720p setting.5). It doesn’t come with a pouch or case for protection and it does not have earphone input jack.I feel that this recorder exceeds my expectations for the price that I paid. I am happy with its functionalities but I will see how long will this recorder last.
