日本式ペンホルダーの裏面打法を習得するために、檜単板の９.5mm から薄い板厚7mmで単板と同等の飛びが期待できるヒノカーボンSを選びました。ラバーは中国粘着ラバーの天極2を表に、天極３を裏に貼っています。裏面打法を習得して実戦で使うのは1年後の計画です。まだ裏面打法はマスター出来ていませんが、表側だけを使用した感じでは、今までの単板より飛ぶし、軽いので非常に使いやすいと思っています。打球感はラケットの板で打っているというより、ラバーで打っているような感じがします。今まで台上フリックとフォアドライブが苦手でしたが、このヒノカーボンと天極２の組み合わせに変えたら、ミスが減って非常に簡単に入るようになりました。対戦した相手の話では、非常に回転が強く、球が速いので打ちにくいと言ってました。
