Great little item to connect and HDMI device such as a fire stick to your computer. Then you don't have to pull out your TV and unplug your devices when you set them up. Works excellent. Very good price. I only paid $4.99 USD for mine and I think it's worth ten times that. You it with with free software like osb studio on windows.

This is more of a device that you'll keep the stock settings, and not try to customize (unless you want to get frustrated at spending an hour for nothing). All in all, however, this is so inexpensive to capture 1080p, and with such a small form factor.Side note: my thanks to a previous reviewer for the forewarning about using USB C!

Llegó dañada. Afortunadamente Amazon me ayudó con reembolso, pero no funcionó.

I bought this to try out the HDMI passthrough on my Quest 3 and it worked very well! I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this because I needed a console for a Raspberry Pi, and this worked perfectly with OBS on MacOS, USB-C connection. Plug and play (only tried on MacOS) in my experience, and the build quality is much better than I expect.

Note: Testing with a decently powerful system (i7-12700k with a 3070ti and 32G of RAM), and using the regular USB port, not the USB-C port on the device.Tested by using this to capture output from a docked Nintendo Switch, bringing the video output into OBS and capturing the audio with VoiceMeeter Banana. It's responsive enough that I was able to confidently play a few games real-time, without splitting the video. Direct from the OBS preview window. The video was captured with little to no noticeable delay (again, this is going to partially depend on your system as well). The audio was handled well enough. That being said, trying to change ANY settings that you might want tweak for the capture card just shut down the video capture completely. Black screen.I was able to play Tears of the Kingdom with no problem at all, and decided to use Zelda 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3 as 60 fps tests. Again, no problem with those at all, as long as I just accepted the settings the card defaults with. So, a mixed bag. If you want a confident enough device and don't like to tweak, this is a value purchase. If you like to tinker, move on.

The USB A adapter included bottlenecks the card to mjpeg functionality only. And randomly causes it to be removed from the system when in use. Just plug it in directly with usb c and everything works fine. Yuy2 (uncompressed) works all the way up to 1080p 60fps. Great quality video when not using mjpeg. Definitely worth the price add long as you have usb c available.
