I’m obsessed with these! They give the perfect little farmhouse look to my house but they are useable as well. Very nice construction and I like having a variety. They let off a nice romantic light. They are just perfect!

I don't often write a review but you don't often get more than you expected. These lamps are bigger than I expected, nice surprise. The chimneys are pretty heavy duty glass. I haven't lit them yet but don't expect any priblems. An oil lamp is a pretty simple thing.

This is a very nice oil lamp set. They are both aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Great for both emergencies as well as when you just want a little ambience. Saves on your electric bill as well. Really wonderful price for a set of four.

I’ve been a big fan of Hurricane lamps since I was a child; they have a very nostalgic feel for me, so I was excited to find this set of 4 and put them out in my home.These are made of actual glass and came very well packaged, in their own individual boxes with padding. Each box also features directions for handling the lamps printed on them, which are very detailed, so if you have no experience with kerosene lamps, you won’t feel out of your depth.I love that the shapes and designs of each base are different. It’s a nice way to add some decorative cohesion throughout the house, without repeating the exact same item over and over.I will say that the gold of the regulators is a bit yellow for my taste, which (in my opinion) makes that area look a little cheap. The wick roller stems are also imprinted with “Made in China,” which again just makes these feel a little less expensive/classy and a little more like mass produced crap, but the regulators are the only part that give off that feeling. The black ones might not have that same problem, and this is of course a personal opinion.The lamps do NOT come with kerosene, and I am currently out, so I will be updating my review once I actually put these babies to use.(I’ve currently placed these around as decor, so do note that you’ve got to treat these like you would any other open flame! I won’t be lighting most of these in their current positions, especially if I’m not hanging around.)So far, these are worth it for what I was expecting.
