The chest is constructed with only veneer. Not veneer covered wood, but veneer only. Flimsy, and put together with staples. Stay away from this product.

This trunk is absolutely horrible....said it’s made out of cedar which I hardly doubt and if it is....every piece on this piece of crap is literally 1/8” pieces of wood stapled together, mine as well built this with plywood which I am sure some of it is. The Hardware is also flimsy and bends with a simple twist. To get to the point, this thing isn’t nearly close to $180....be lucky if it’s $50....I have bought real vintage antiques for that price and it’s legit all the way through from wood to hardware and all, I am so returning this piece of crap!

Wish i could give negative stars. All of the latches were broken, there were holes in the shipping box, the wax rubs off on your hands, made with 1/8in plywood. Honestly ive seen better quality for half the price sitting on the shelf at target. will be asking for a replacement. Pros shipping was fast I guess thats worth a star.

Chest is not extremely sturdy. However, it is beautiful. I am using it as a small table in front of window and put plants on it. Perfect for that purpose. Lovey color and details.

I love this trunk it holds ALOT of stuff and it’s so stylish! Looks amazing in living room or any room without taking away from the room or decor! Meshes well!! I may order another one for dining room to hold linens!

Very well made. Overall I am happy with the product and it works quite well. Good design in a pretty box. Simple design and very reasonably priced equals !
