I've purchased a brand name version of this exact item and this is a near exact copy. Cost a little less but does the exact same thing and well! I would recommend this to anyone trying to mount an outdoor light fixture to siding!

I own an old house that is white with black accents and trim and this mounting block is a perfect fit for my siding and provided a much needed coordinating finishing touch to the wall sconces beside the door. I'm very please with it.
