This violin chinrest is very poorly made. It comes with the bracket not attached to the ebony platform, probably for flat shipping. The holes for mounting the bracket on the platform are drilled too large for the intended friction fit, and are misaligned and drilled at different angles, so that the bracket cannot be mounted on it. And even if the bracket could be mounted on the platform, it could not be secured and the chinrest would not sit level on the violin. The bracket itself is crudely formed of rough metal. There are no cork pads to protect the finish of the violin. The ebony is of poor quality, with noticeable flaws. Save your money and buy a good chinrest.

Exactement tel que décrit. Confortable et facile d’installation. Je voulais une mentonnière plus mince et celle-là me convient. Et pour le prix, ça vaut la peine!
