Well made product, nice packaging, value for money and thanks for the quick shipping too. I had high expectation on boxwood but ebony seems to produce better sound with my violin. But I still love it and am going to keep using it for a while.

Chinrest was fine but the incorrect feet to attach were included. Rest was designed for Hill type feet but the standard type clamp was sent.Disappointing!

The first chinrest I have bought in a long time, superbly made, fits smoothly and comfortably under the chin, superb appointments, . As a professional violinist for 40 years, I highly recommend this product

I love these chin rests, particularly the strad style. I have a Conrad Goetz in ebony and loved the pics of the boxwood that I had to have it even though my set up is all ebony. I live dangerously I guess...yeah, not really. Well, I ordered directly from Germany for this since it was out of stock on Amazon. The quality is excellent and I love the gold hill style brackets. I'm very pleased with the color of the boxwood with the finish of my violin. You may see the blue ribbon still attached to the bracket in the picture...my two year old thinks it's a bow and burst into tears when I was initially removing it. She now kisses it. So now I guess it's a permanent fixture. Overall, beautifully crafted and unique. Sehr gut!
