Components
Head Cover
Black mesh opening with spacious inside to protect from stings. The hood zips partially off so you can put it back when not in use.
Elastic Sleeves
Elastic wrist openings create a tight closed fit for additional arm protection.
Both the hood and jacket are hand washable only.

Cheap and, in my experience, "good enough" when dealing with yellowjackets/wasps. I wouldn't kick the nest or anything like that (unless the drones have already been more or less dealt with), but it's plenty of protection for approaching it to within range of a spray, or bringing a vacuum hose up to the nest. I thinned out a nest in an enclosed space in my parents' house and only got stung once in the hand...make sure you also wear thick enough gloves (I got the VIVO ones AFTER the time I just mentioned) and thick enough long pants (jeans should work fine).

Every year we have wasps return to the same areas, unfortunately one area is right by the front door.. Anyone coming to the door , or leaving the house has to dodge the wasps…With this jacket I was able to fully protect myself to spray the wasp nest…No stings..🥰

I'm in Texas and i wear this when i mow the lawn so i don't get killed by mosquitos. I also wear gloves, pants, rain boots, but this thing saves me from mosquitos biting my face, arms, and torso. I love it.

But you can have off days with them, the top jacket is a tight thing to put on, but it works well.The veil is also a good fit and of course keeps the bees out of your face.No complaints.

A!though I like the fit and material, I had other issues with this bee suit jacket. When I put it on, my first concern was how the veil folded in the back and touched your neck. Sure enough, first use, a bee managed to sting me through the veil into my neck. After my partner added a bottom ring to expand it, and a piece of fabric around the back, I now have a good, usable and bee resistant suit top.

This has worked out great for me. Used it about 7 times now. ALOT cheaper than local suppliers. I needed XL but amazon only had Large. When the bees are coming soon and you need this quickly!! Got it 2 days before bees arrived-- phew! Material is thin but no stings, yet. I have to wear a baseball cap under the hood because it wants to drop down over my eyes but that works.

You can't beat the price. This is light weight, thin material which helps you stay cool and protected on hot summer days. For new beekeepers, I recommend a thicker fabric jacket for additional protection. For me, this is my favorite, I'm comfortable around my bees, but use a jacket as a safety precaution in case things turn bad.

The head netting going all the way around allows stings in the back of the neck. Still good for the price for fairly nice bees. Buy a size larger than you think you need. Better large than small.

This was the first bee suit I got because it was the cheapest and I wasn't sure how long I'd be beekeeping. Admittedly, the fabric isn't the thickest and the construction isn't the strongest. Specifically, after 4 years it had some issues (tears at a seam here and there, holes in the mesh, bent wire around the hood etc.) mostly due to heavy use and me not being gentle with it either when wearing it or in storage. When I went to replace it I got a more expensive, thicker sturdier one. After using that one a few times, I reordered this one and haven't touched the "nicer" one again. The lighter fabric of this one actually keeps me from dying of heat (unlike the other one) and it's construction makes for much quicker on and off (whereas the nicer one requires a lot of zipping and strapping to both put on and take off). It's not the nicest, most expensive thing, but it's the one I've come to prefer.

Fit both my kids great. I use one myself and the thin fabric reduces how hot I get while working with the bees and I have yet to have a bee sting through. Great jackets

I bought this jacket last year as a back-up to a more expensive jacket that I bought on Amazon. The veil of the expensive jacket tore in a number of places and I had to use this one. I'm not crazy about the pullover design but the jacket is holding up better than I would have expected. It's light weight and cool when doing hive inspections on hot days. I think I'll buy another one to have on hand when I have someone over who's interested in learning about bees.
