This damper was much better than the issue damper that came with my Vogelzang stove. It has leess holes in it so it keeps my fire more in the stove than in the pipes and reduces loss of precious heat. My logs last a lot longer. Now if I could only find a new top for it.

Bought a house that had a small Vogelzang wood burning stove in the garage, but the original damper was long gone. Used the stove for a while without a damper, but I was basically just pumping all the heat out of the chimney. This replacement damper fit perfectly and now I can actually retain the heat in my garage.
