Cute outfit, but T-shirt is not a quick dry shirt. It is a regular cotton polyester shirt.

This bathing suit fits great in my son. He is 5 years old and in a size 6-7 boys. I got him a size 7 and it fits him perfect. He wore it in at the pool in 90 degree weather and the top protected him from the suns rays. He had no sun tan where the clothes were. The quality is great. No tears, holes, loose stitching, or stretching. He was very comfortable in this bathing suit. The drawstring waist made it so the bottoms weren’t too tight. The bathing suit dries fairly quickly. I think this is a good and trusted brand and I def recommend.

The shorts with this set run a bit big and I am a bit concerned about how they may fit when worn in the pool this summer. However, the shirt fit really well and I am still overall pleased with this swim suit. Good quality materials with good sturdy stitches and a print that my 7 year old son doesn't feel is too "babyish" for him. He said this is very comfortable, he loves it and can't wait for summer time so he can swim. I would have preferred if the shorts had a working drawstring to help tighten the shorts for the kids who are on the skinnier side (like my son) instead of the velcro and string for decoration only. I like knowing that my son will have some protection from the sun during the long hot summer days.

My son is in size 4-5 clothing and was in need of a new suit. This is listed as a 5 or a size S in Volcom. I ordered the color black. The sleeves are narrower and hit at the elbow; my son and I both really like this style, but it might not work as well for a kid with thicker arms. The shorts don’t have any lining and aren’t adjustable. (They’re Velcro with a tie that doesn’t really tighten anything.) The shirt fits fine, but the shorts are too big and I wouldn’t trust them for jumping in and out of a pool/ocean, so you might need a smaller size if you want to ensure a snug fit. SPF of the suit is 50+, and I’m overall pleased with the style.

Levi likes this swim shorts and top. He's a bit of a clown, so I let him be goofy in the first picture, but asked for a straight face next. He tried. He said he's getting ready to dive.Levi is 7 years and two months old here, modeling the size 7 Volcom Boys' Rashguard Set - 2 Piece UPF 50+ Quick Dry Swim Shirt and Boardshorts. When did the name for "swim suit" get so long? UPF means Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It's like the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) for clothing. I'm not sure why we're calling little boys swim shirts "rash guard." I think the whole rash guard idea was for surfers, to protect their wet skin from abrasion while climbing on a wet, sandy, saltwater surf board. For little boys, it's really more to protect them from sun burn.Levi said the tie on the front of the shorts was just for show. It doesn't tighten the shorts any. He's a skinny kid and wears size 7 slim jeans. These swim trunks will slide right off him when he jumps in the pool. I'm going to have to open the side seam and tighten the elastic waist. We try to buy only pants with adjustable waistbands, where the elastic has a series of button holes and you can cinch them up tighter and button them in place. Swim suits are harder to find with adjustable waists, so I'm familiar with tightening shorts up. Otherwise, I could just have him wear a size 6 another year. Maybe these will fit better when he's older.The shorts are really cute. I like the little side pocket, even though Levi's too young to need a pocket to hold car keys, a cell phone or a credit card. He'll probably just stuff clam shells and shiny pebbles in his pocket. It goes without saying that the shorts are very well made.The shirt fits him just fine. Maybe it's supposed to fit snug? It isn't long sleeved, like many of the other swim shirts I've seen. But it isn't really short sleeved, either. The sleeves came down just past his elbow. He doesn't seem to sun burn anyway. I think he moves to fast for the sun to find him.I really do like this suit. If you have a skinnier child, you may want to buy the size smaller than what you'd expect. Otherwise, everything is just great.

My son is 4 years old and 38 pounds. I bought a size bigger bc volcom and Hurley run a bit small in my opinion so I bought a size 5 instead of a 4. The shirt is a good fit. The swim bottoms are slightly big. They are fine dry but when they get wet they may slide down a bit. Material is good quality. Happy with my purchase!
