I did not like the quality of this pan. Cheap product for the price. In the process of returning it.

Nice nonstick pan, but it has a weird stain right in the middle. We ordered two and both of them had it.

A nice skillet. Cleans up with just paper towels. Nice weight and heat distribution. I use it all the time and have no complaints. In fact I went back and bought a second one !

Have owned several of these. Don't put them in the dishwasher and they'll last a long time.

Vollrath is my favorite brand for non-stick cookware. Amazon tells me I’ve purchased it twice before. I believe that this is actually my fourth pan in this size (10-inch). Sturdy construction, no gimmicks, no celebrity endorsements, and it really performs well on the stove (no hot spots, good browning on food, doesn’t warp). Excellent non-stick properties for scrambled eggs or whatever else. I even use metal tools like a fish spatula or a large tablespoon if I don’t have my wooden spatula at hand. As long as you’re even a little careful it should be fine.Getting back to the fact that this is my fourth 10” pan, one must accept the fact that these things do have a shelf life. You won’t be bequeathing this to your grandchildren. Stick with (pun not intended?) carbon steel if you’re trying to create an heirloom. With typical usage in a home setting this pan lasts probably 4-5 years.I’m writing this in 2023 and the last one I purchased was in 2018. We cook daily: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Candidly, this pan could have been replaced a year ago. It’s still a great pan, just lost its non-stick properties. That said, the scrambled eggs wash out easily with a short soak and a bit of elbow grease. And, keep in mind I won’t be discarding the older pan. I’m taking it to the kitchen at my work… where it, old and used and replaced, will still outperform the other poor, warped excuses for skillets (except for my old 14” replaced Vollrath which I donated right before the pandemic - HA!). I love seeing folks come in all confused about who brought the “new” pan and then using it and loving it. Mwa-hahahaha! Feel my ‘Rath!

So far this is more durable than the $20 pans from your local big box store. I've had this for a year and it's still as nonstick as when I first bought it.I've never used the green side of the sponge (I've used the both sides of the blue sponge), never used any metal utensils and try not to use it on high heat.I make crispy potato hash with a no mess clean up.Eggs and pancakes are easy to make and come out cleanly.I also make taco meat and since the pan cleans out so well, there's never any transference of flavors. This pan does have rivets on the inside so you have to make sure to clean those well.I would absolutely recommend this pan. As long as you treat this pan nicely (no scrubby sponge, no metal utensils, no high heat) it will last.

I purchase this same pan ten years ago from a professional kitchen supply store.Three years ago while doing the dishes I dropped a fork inside and it put a small nick on the surface bottom. Over the final three years that small area grew and grew to about two inches long and a quarter inch wide. That damage was my fault. Also, the coating on the three rivets peeled off but cannot account why. I did look for the identical pan online but did not find it until three months ago on Amazon.I have dedicated this new pan to an unbreakable rule for omelets only: butter, eggs, salt and pepper. I am an omelet advocate and one must have a good pan to obtain a good omelet.I predict this pan will also last many years. The rivets are solid and attached with heavy-duty precision. The handle is comfortable and heatproof. The pan is weighty and balanced (the quality is consistent from the original pan I bought ten years ago). Always cool down completely before washing with a soft cloth and dish soap. The price is a very good value for the quality. May your experience be as favorable.

This pan transmits heat much more efficiently than my previous one from another brand. The pan's depth is also satisfying as food doesn't hop out of it quite so easily as my previous one. Finally, I appreciate that the pan also comes with info about what temperature oven it can stand, and that this temperature's quite high too.

I've been using this frying pan for about 3 months now and it's performing fantastically. I use it about 90% of the time to cook liquid egg whites for breakfast in the morning. I spray a little Pam (not much required) and let the pan heat up then add the eggs. The eggs cook evenly and are easy to flip in the pan due to the outstanding non-stick surface. It's been holding up strong for the 3 months unlike many cheaper pans I've used that tend to start losing their non-stick capabilities after a little while. Cleaning is a breeze as well, half the time I just wipe it down with a dry paper towel and any food residue just wipes right off.The rubber grip handle stays nice and cool and the very strong rivets connecting the handle to the pan are showing no signs of wearing down. This pan is a little pricier than others, but so far it's a workhorse and shows no signs of letting up.

At first I loved it. Everything about this pan is quality. The triple riveted handle with silicone stay-cool grip. The extra-heavy aluminum cooking vessel. The amazing non-stick ceramic finish. It reminds me of my stainless All-Clad pans, only in non-stick. It has become my new go-to frying favorite. Worth every penny.Update: after 4 years of use, the non-stick properties are pretty much non-existent. I have always used non-metal utensils, but the pan now sticks. too bad as I really liked it. downgrading to 3 stars.Update: after 5 years it looks like a chipped up piece of junk. note I have ALWAYS used plastic/silicon utensils, NEVER once used metal utensils, always hand-washed. Throwing it away and will spend the money for an ALL-CLAD. Sigh, It was beautiful while it lasted, but 5 years is way to short a time to call this a good buy. good-bye Vollrath.
