I bought these for an upcoming trip to Alaska. I looked at many brands and decided on Vortex for many reasons. I think these will be perfect, and the carrier will come in handy. I was a bit disappointed that part of the eyepiece cover was broken. But as this doesn’t affect usage, I don’t want to risk returning & not having them for my trip.

Fantastic pair of binoculars, crystal clear image, and lightweight enough to carry around for several hours at a time while birdwatching. The adjustments are fine-tuned and easy to dial in to get a really crisp picture, including when sharing the binoculars between people with and without eyeglasses. The carrying case and lens cleaning wipe are a nice bonus.

Are they the very best binoculars I have ever owned? In the 10x42 $100 range they absolutely are.Everything about them - from clarity to brightness, to fit and finish - far exceeded my expectations.Plus the warranty is *chef's kiss*.

I own two sets of Vortex binoculars, primarily for birding; a set of copperheads and a set of diamondbacks (see my review on those). I am also not a compulsive reviewer; I only review things I think are worthy of me toning, and these are. For the price point the clarity is amazing. I can literally see miles into the next county and almost read the letters on their water towers. The only reason I am giving them 4stars is in comparison to the diamondbacks which are that much better (I can only guess what the vipers or razors are like, maybe vortex will like my review and send me a pair! 😂).What's even more impressive is Vortex's customer service. I accidental pulled the rubber grip off the center focus knob of these binoculars and they sent me a label, fixed them inside two weeks and sent them back. All with no questions asked and no cost. Find a better warrenty if you can, but I doubt it.So if you are looking for an inexpensive (not cheep) pair of binoculars, and you value customer service, look no further.

I'm very surprised by these. They're pretty excellent. They don't have a close focus distance but where they do focus they're pretty good! Do they compare to optics that have extra low dispersion glass elements? Of course not. There is some chromatic aberration in bright light but it's VERY well controlled.The set of "Copperhead" (triumph HD) that I got easily outperforms last gen Diamondback and Leupold Mackenzie binoculars for resolution and aberration control.They're an undeniable value and "glass" like this would have cost 4-5x as much just 5 years ago.

Just bought these pair of Vortex Copperhead HD 10 x 42’s to have in my truck to check the surf. They’re a new product model from Vortex and I am quite pleased with the quality, workmanship and the crystal clear results when viewing anything through the awesome lenses in these. I also have a pair of Vortex Diamondback HD 12 x 50’s and I’ll have to say, other than the difference in magnification, the clarity is comparable! Great VIP warranty with these as well along with a sturdy soft bag and GlassPak harness, you can’t go wrong. I saved $40 ordering on Amazon. These are listed at $149.99 on the Vortex website and it states “limited quantity” so get a pair ASAP! You won’t be disappointed with the quality for such a great price point. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my book for a great mid-level pair of binoculars.
