We had an erratic flash in our DMX lighting is was caused by a in line "y" cable that was installed by the individual who purchased the lights for our church. This is were our lighting system malfunctioned. We pulled out the "y" and replaced it with the DMX512 Optical Splitter. This improved the signal and cleared up our problem.

I purchased eight of these and with in 10 minutes 5 weren’t sending out laser. Had to return all 8.
