color and brightness are the exact same as OEM. Other reviewers comments on difficult to remove- used a car trim kit tool- to push the tabs in and it slips right out. Took me 5 minutes to replace 2. Also as noted- find the dead light- not the dimly lit light- the deadlight is what cause the good ones to go dim. There are 2 circuits in series.Should the lights be burning out so fast- no- My 15 yo GE fridge in the garage keeps its lights nice and bright. This one-multiples service calls in 4 years.

If your Whirlpool fridge is feeling a little gloomy, don't worry, you're not alone. I was in the same boat until I discovered this amazing LED light module. Turns out, one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch when it comes to fridge lights. Thankfully, this little guy was a perfect match and has brought my fridge back to life. Replaced a burned out (which was told that they NEVER will need replacing) LED in my JennAir fridge. Easy to install and this module is working great!

The light lit up the freezer. The other blights that were very dim were also bright again when the new light was insyalled

Every year or two, would have to have a service person come out and fix the failed lights on a refrigerator purchased only 6 years ago. Has 11 of these lights and, if one fails, half the other lights go out. (There are two circuits in series.)Each visit cost a couple of hundred bucks. Now I do it myself.Secret is to find the one that failed. In my case, among the half that went out, all but one will still slightly glow. The one that is not glowing is the one to replace.Lot's of videos out there showing how to pop out the old lights using a putty knife and screw driver.Oh, and don't forget the light behind the ice maker in many of these models. That's the one that most recently failed and it took me awhle to notice it. Pain to get to but, when replaced, all the lights came back on.In my model, several of the wire plug fittings are almost impossible to get to to release the male fitting and then unplug. That's why you see some of the Amazon offerings for this light also come with red connectors. Just leave the male fitting of the failed light plugged in, clip the leads of the failed light close to the old light, cut off the male fitting on the new light near the male fitting, then connect the new leads to the old leads.

These interior lights in my Kitchen Aid freezer are always hell to remove and replace. And after six years of owning the refrigerator, I have replaced every one of them at least once (but I still love the refrigerator). I hesitated to order these because they are not the ones produced by the refrigerator's manufacturer. But they are identical and work just as well.

This bright, and looks nice. I’m sure it could be used for a lot of things as well. Glove box light, dome light, it would require you to cut a custom hole. But, could be used for any 12 volt system. And multiple refrigerators that have 12v lighting. Doesn’t necessarily have to be the models shown. This one doesn’t seem to produce a lot of heat, so that’s why I’m saying it could be used for multiple purposes. As a refrigerator light though, it works great. The bezel is nice, the snap in holds nicely. Doesn’t wiggle around. It’s a tight fit.

We have a Jenn Air jf42nxfxde02 model refrigerator. We’ve had the fridge for about 3 1/2 years and a light went out a few days ago. The interior lights are all connected together so when one goes out, so do the others. I was nervous to do the replacement myself but watched a YouTube video which clearly led me through the steps to replace. It was super simple and this light clipped right in. I finally have light back in my fridge! I’d highly recommend this light.
