Good enough for an aging car. Hard to install due to tolerance issues. Had to modify adjustment spreader.

There is a major flaw with these shoes. the perches that hold the adjuster is not machined wide enough for the adjuster to fit flush. This caused the shoes to be too wide for the rotor/drum to fit. I happened to have both a Dorman and the OE adjusters and neither fit without grinding out the slot bigger. This caused so much aggravation. Please buy a different brand. This was on all four shoes so I do bot think this was a o e off defect. Thanks

The parking brake on a 4Runner has surprisingly low tolerances and these are just a hair too fat which makes them completely useless.Oh, and painting old shoes with rough black paint doesn't them new.I'm sure it's a

Too much "brake-pad" on the shoes. Had to grind down to fit into drum. Parking brake fully in, but could not fit the shoes into the drum without considerable grinding down. Messy job.

Just simple parking brake shoes. Fit is good and they do the job. The price was right for something rarely used.

Defective shoe, only 1 was defective, mechanic had to order a new set and I had to pay $50 for it because I had no time to wait for a replacement, very disappointed, returned the whole set, and I ended up paying a lot to get the job done while the care was all torn apart
