Installation is fairly easy. Fit my 2006 honda element perfectly. Nice and quiet.My only complaint is it was delivered with dents and nothing to protect it during transport.

Had to order two to get a usable one due to the bare shipping Amazon uses and the handling by UPS. I say usable because it still had a couple dents in it but it didn’t look like someone used it to burst through a zombie horde like the first one. For my application on a 2006 Honda Element the mounts line up but it was hitting the heat shield in the rear muffler portion so it required some persuasion via BFH to get it hanging a little lower. Google BFH if you’re not familiar, should be a good time. Overall for the price it’s fine for what you need, but if you’re in a pinch and “need” this right away I’d probably go to NAPA or similar to get it.

Pretty easy to install and it has worked good the two months that it has been installed. Seems slightly quieter than factory muffler.

After about 4 months of use, small holes started forming in weld bead around the flange that connects to the catalytic convertor. The welds around all the flanges were pretty bad but the one around the cat flange was the worst. These holes were completely through and exhaust gases & noise were escaping and not going out the tailpipe. I had to pay to get a welder to fix the shoddy welds. After ~5 months the crimps around the end and top of the resonator completely failed resulting in more exhaust leaks around the resonator. After the resonator failed I threw this thing away and replaced with something else.This an extremely LOW QUALITY part. In the end, I should have just paid more for a better part and not this garbage that failed on me multiple times. This cost me way more money and multiple trips to the repair shop.

I sent the item to the Honda service department (they were out of stock and this supplier could get it there before them which is a bonus).The mechanic explained there was some kind of rattle in the muffler that he could not get out. It does make some noise when i drive it. It also did not fit perfectly - they had to use some washers to accommodate the difference.Timing was great though.I am going to try and smog the car and will update the review if there is an issue.

Fit perfectly, and at a price point that even if I have to replace it over two years I'm still money of head from going to a muffler shop.

Seems to be working great on our '05 Honda Element. We also appreciate the incentive of getting this exhaust system with the rebate offer. 2019, 3 yr update! Exhaust system is still going strong but the attached tailpipe has rusted off from the main exhaust.
