It seems like it’s a good quality, but putting this thing together is an absolute nightmare, you’re expected to put the planter piece on yourself with teeny tiny screws that you have to hold in place in a teeny tiny space and still be able to have the range of motion to get it together. The tools are essentially useless in this scenario.

HORRIBLE ASSEMBLY and no instructions. I’m about to just throw it away because it’s wasted so much time. Get a different one. Don’t bother with this one

This mailbox is well-made of galvanized steel with a matte black finish. It’s hefty and strong, not flimsy in the least. I don’t see any instructions with it, but to be honest, I took it out of the box and already got rid of the box, so I may have missed them in there. It seems very straightforward though. It comes with a little bag of tools to assemble and hang it. I will have my son help me hang it on the side of my house. The only assembly required is to attach the little flower box to the front, and there are pre-drilled holes for that, and they line up well. The number stickers aren’t going to work for me because three of the four numbers for my address are the same. These don’t come with any duplicates. My real mailbox is on the street, but I thought this is so cute and will help dress up my entryway, and could be used for drop offs and pick ups amongst friends/family. I’ve stuck things in my mailbox for someone to pick up before, or had them drop something off for me in my mailbox, and I didn’t realize that that is against the law! So this will be the new dropbox. And even if I didn’t use it for anything other than looks, I still really like it.

The mailbox itself is awesome and has a good weight to it. I deducted two stars because it came with a gouge in the metal. I don't feel it was packaged in a way to prevent damaging it. But I'll be honest it looks like the damage happened prior to packaging and they still packed it up and shipped it out.
