This drop box really surprised me in the best way. The steel is thick, solid, and gives it a heavy feel that immediately sets it apart from lighter or flimsier mailboxes. It has that dense, durable kind of quality that makes you feel like it will hold up for years with no problem. The finish looks clean and seems well coated, which should help resist scratching and rust over time.The lock system works smoothly and felt very easy to set up. Changing the combination was straightforward and everything about the mechanism felt secure and well built. I did not mount it myself, but everything needed for installation was included and it looked simple to do. Once installed, it felt stable and reliable with no wobble or concern about the mounting points.This would not be the right solution for storing valuables or sensitive documents, but for everyday use like collecting non-critical mail, payments, small packages, or drop-offs, it is perfect. The overall build quality exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend it for anyone who needs a sturdy and dependable mailbox for general use.
