I have not used this yet but it looks good. I hope it takes the mail alright as it’s very neat. The keys were inside the box and the lock was closed so it took some shaking about to get the keys out.

I bought this letterbox because our old one had started to rust badly and was barely keeping the rain out. I wanted something with a modern look that wouldn’t stick out too much on the front of the house, but could still handle larger post and parcels without jamming.The design is clean and neat, and I really like the matte black finish. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all and has a bit of weight to it, which gave me some confidence it would last through rough weather. The viewing windows are actually quite helpful, as I can see at a glance if anything’s been delivered without needing to open it every time. The nameplate is a nice touch too, although I wish it came with a more weather-resistant label slip, as the one I made got a bit damp the first time it rained.Mounting it was straightforward, and all the fixings were included. Once up, it felt secure and hasn’t budged since. The size is generous. It fits larger letters, magazines and the odd small package without me worrying it’ll be sticking out or getting bent.My one real complaint is the lock. It works, but it feels a bit on the lighter side compared to the rest of the construction. I’d have preferred something with a bit more heft or even a rubber cover to keep rain from getting in the keyhole. It hasn’t failed me yet, but I do wonder how it’ll hold up over time with heavy rain and frost.Overall, it does exactly what I needed it to do, and it looks smart doing it. Just be aware that while the box itself is solid, the lock might not be its strongest point.
