I got this coat for my six-month old Bernedoodle to wear during the harsh winter months in Upper Michigan. I love the design and quality of the coat. However, even though i measured my dog as instructed, I found the coat to be too small. If I put the coat over my dog's head first, I cannot contort her front leg enough to get them in and vice versa. (However, this may be due to the long leggedness of my Bernedoodle.)

Despite coat being beautifully made, great quality and very elegant in style, it has one major flaw- it is very difficult to put on and take off due to its design. It also runs a size small. I have a standard poodle 53lbs and XL was a snug fit. Will get XXL and see if it works for us.

Our American Bulldog has a 30" chest, to which I confirmed prior to ordering! Has you can see, it didn't take him very long to get cozy!Needless to say, I highly recommend!

I love the look and feel of this coat. It looks like it will keep a dog very warm during the cold winter months.The issue that I have (and it's not necessarily the fault of the manufacturer) is that although it fits my dog lengthwise, the legs are just too long and he keeps coming out of them. He is a "Chug" which is a chihuahua - pug mix and so his body is stocky, but he is kind of low to the ground. Therein lies the problem.I don't think downsizing the coat will be much help. It is just an unfortunate combination of genetics that makes this coat not wearable for him. If your dog has more normalized proportions, then, I would highly recommend this coat.
