It is a long lasting battery replacement pack. I was able to use it for a all day wedding event.

It looks like it is a good quality and well priced battery pack. Car connector is a nice addition however capacity of this batteries is not exactly as described. I have Canon Vixia HFM40. I did some detailed testing and compared it to the original Canon battery and the chart from the manual. Both batteries behaved in the same way. They are both compatible with my camera and both read approx 385 minutes of recording time when fully charged. However on average 1 minute of recording time allows to actually record approx 20-40 sec depends on the conditions (Canon battery last approx 60-70 sec). So my total recorded time was 235 minutes (comparing to 385 as reported by camera initially). This is almost 4 hrs of recording time. This is not that bad especially when comparing to standard Canon battery that lasts approx 100-110 min (less than 2 hrs). From what I was reading this is pretty standard behavior for all these cheap Chinese battery packs (no matter the capacity they last for half of the reported recording time). Keep in mind that this is an oversized pack so it sticks out quite a bit from the back of your camera. One more interesting finding. When you look at the chart in the camera manual specifying recording time for this kind of battery it shows maximum recording time of 385 min (this is what Wasabi battery reports) but typical recording time is only 240 minutes (which is only slightly more than what I was able to achieve with my Wasabi battery). The good news is that both batteries can hold charge when camera is not in use over several weeks. Quality is also quite good.So overall, considering the price (3 times cheaper than single canon battery of the same capacity - here you get 2 batteries) it is a pretty good deal and value for the money. It's just not what you would expect from the battery of advertised capacity over 3 times bigger than standard canon battery.

I use it for 2 of my Canon camcorders and they work flawlessly. Definitely recommended.

We have a few Canon cameras and so we can get the power supplies confused, so that is a problem. That and the fact the charging is somewhat slow with the charger are the drawbacks. But, the batteries provided do provide good run time and the price is quite good for the quality. Overall, this gets four stars from me. I'd give it five stars but the fit of the batteries in the charger is a bit sloppy and although they charge fine (slower than I had hoped though), the sloppy fit of the battery in the charger makes me look twice each time we charge a battery. So, four stars it is.

Llego antes de lo esperado, las baterias se ven muy bien, aunque son de 3000 mAh, y son mucho mas grandes que las de otra marca que son de 3800mAh, ya he comprado cargadores de estas marcas, pero este se calienta demasiado,

I have a Canon Vixia HF G10 camcorder that is critical to sustain my popular YouTube channel. At first, I was excited that the stock batteries that came with my Vixia HF G10 were the same batteries that my previous camera (Canon Vixia HF M301) had which were also the same batteries used by my previous camera (Canon FS100). I figured I was set with 5 batteries (Canon BP808). However, the problem I have is the BP-808 batteries only give me between 72-91 minutes of recording time. Some times my live lectures run two hours and I can't pause the lecture to change the camera battery, nor can I run the camera from a wall outlet since these lectures are done in different locations around the state, so a wall socket is not always available or may require a cord be strung across the floor that someone may trip on and damage the camera.UPDATE: Well, it's been a year already! The battery is still holding up perfectly. I say 'battery' and not 'batteries' because I accidentally put one of the batteries in the charger backwards. When I realized it, I could not get it to come back out. I ended up banging it against the side of a counter, which broke the battery apart, but at least the charger was okay. Why does the charger permit the installation of the battery backwards? That's my only complaint. I have found the extended OEM authentic Canon battery (that I purchased at the same time) does not hold a charge for as long nor does it match the total recording time these batteries hold. I'm tempted to buy some more of them, but I have no need. This is definitely a good value! As I researched extended batteries for my HF G10, two models kept coming up, a BP-827 and BP-828. The BP-828 has 2750mAh / The BP827 has 2670mAh. I also found a lot of third-party compatible batteries available at one-third the price of an authentic Canon battery. So, I decided to buy both. I ordered this set of Wasabi batteries advertised as being BP-827 compatible and I ordered an authentic BP-828 Canon battery for $129.The batteries came in, I charged them up and the Wasabi batteries now give me 325 minutes of recording time. Both batteries showed the exact same time remaining the camera. I didn't use the batteries other than to check the life reported by the camera. The next day, I thought I would check them again to see if they lost any charge over 24 hours. They still read 325 minutes of recording time, each. The BP-828 authentic Canon battery was charged and put in the camcorder and it showed a total of 308 minutes of recording time! 24 hours later, it still showed the same charge. Before I draw any conclusions, I have heard stories of non-factory batteries and battery chargers causing harm to the devices they are intended to work with. I've also heard they drain faster and have a shorter overall life span. To that end, I also charge my Wasabi batteries in the included Wasabi charger, and I charge my authentic Canon batteries in the authentic Canon charger (CG-800 - $54.99).I tried one of the Wasbai batteries first for my next YouTube video. I'm done with day 2 and the camera reports a remaining charge of 219 minutes. The video I am currently making is being filmed in a stop-motion-animation style which requires the camera starts and stops for 10 seconds, then sits about a minute in standby mode (pause ON) and then this process is repeated for at least an hour a day.I think these batteries are fantastic and that they come with the charger, Euro-adapter and 12-volt car adapter really makes this deal too good to be true! But how will these Wasabi batteries hold up over time? Will the authentic Canon battery hold more a charge in a year's time?I'm going to find out and I'll report back on Dec 8, 2016 to let you know the results.Stay tuned!

I bought these for my Canon HFG20 Camcorder that sees a lot of extended shooting time (essentially, from start until ,the battery runs out - I use them to record LONG music performances, often 4-5 hours in length.) These batteries are equally as good as their "brand name" counterparts, come with a very handy extra charger (helpful when you need to have one juicing up while using the other) and even a car cigarette lighter adapter that I thought I'd never use until I needed it. I initially thought the reviews were too good to be true, perhaps a bunch "wasabi plants" - surely couldn't be that a battery that was so much less expensive than the manufacturer's equivalent would be...well...equivalent, or better..., but I was wrong. I have since bought additional wasabi power batteries while traveling and have been equally happy with them. So, my bottom line- less than 1/2 the cost of Canon branded batteries- they interface properly with Canon products and show correct battery life onscreen- The last longer than their canon counterparts- They show a full 400 min charge, and you get 400 minutes plus.I tried to think of anything to "ding" the, on-any negative, but the only minor concern (and it just is what it is) is that the batteries are large - they do hang over the rear of the camera by a relatively large margin. I don't care one bit. They do what they are advertise to do. They last in situations where I never thought I would get that kind of power - especially from an "off brand" - but, after purchasing these and becoming tuned into the name a bit, they seem to be used by a lot of semi-pros who know the value of this product. When I purchased mine nine months ago, I just went by the rating and the price - after nine months no disappointment here, and no reduction in change over time, yet.. his would be my first call if I ever needed another pair of batteries for whatever next camera I purchase to go along with this one.

The batteries charged quickly and held their charge as advertised. However, my Vixia HF G20 camera shut off several times as I pressed the play button with my thumb. The battery lost connection with the camera which shut it off. This was annoying because I not only had to turn it back on and lost the shot but on several occasions it also forced a recovery on the camera which caused an additional delay.I realize that this is a longer battery and I have big hands which probably caused battery to lose connection with the terminal as my thumb was a little squeezed. The situation is avoided if you use the camera remote to start recording or maybe have smaller hands.
