If it wasn't so time-consuming to return things to Amazon, I would return this. It's junk. The neck is bowed and the intonation is horrible. I'll have to take for repairs right from the start. I would give it a negative star if it was possible. Washburn encloses truss rod adjustment instructions for a guitar, not a banjo also. Goofy. Avoid this one.

A nice entry level banjo, if you do a little work on it. The action at the nut was way too high, so get that fixed and it plays very nicely.I light the light weight- no resonator makes it easy to wear. Plenty loud enough for home use or acoustic jams.Looks very nice, no defects of any kind.

I have owned a couple of Washburn instruments, (banjo and mandolin) these were excellent. Washburn should be ashamed to have there name on this banjo. would not stay in tune! Very cheaply made.

I have no idea if the person that wrote the last review even has the same banjo. The B-7 is a great banjo! It is very sturdy, has a great sound, and is made from really good material. Overall, this is an excellent instrument, whether you are a beginner, or someone looking for a light weight banjo to travel with. I couldn't be happier with this banjo!
