housing was to small so the impeller wouldn't move causing it to be stuck and starter couldn't turn over motor

Parts are boxed loose and are all banged up on its voyage from China. Look at pictures. The impeller is cracked from manufacturing defect. The key does not fit in the groove making it uninstallable. The gasket is torn. The base plate shows wear marks from use. Same with seal. Holes are out of round. Just garbage quality and would not trust on the water even if it could be installed.

Went together fine, complete with seal unit and gaskets. I had to get the coupling for the extension on the motor. Not a big deal, but cost me a couple more days off the water.
