This is a dual station sender. It is not stated in the description. If you only have one temperature gauge do not use this sender. Your temperature reading will be wrong.

Thread was way too big for my thermostat housing. I have a 5.7. Ad lists the correct part number but the part I got doesn't work.

It would not list the ohms, so with it being cheap I bought it. The ohms were wrong for my gauge. My gauge is 0-233ohms and this pegged my temp gauge to 220 degrees within about 30 seconds of being started.
