No drilling and you can have sling and it has good recoil padding. Love Wayne dogs quality you can't beat it. We highly recommend them.

I put this on my over under and it looks decent but the recoil pad functions really well and it made 3 inch turkey shells more manageable. The recoil pad is pretty adjustable and it fits really well on the beretta My only complaint is that the front piece blocks the bead and doesnt fit the barrel as well , so it looks out of place.

We ordered the kit “With Barrel Mount” in the color “Brown.” It arrived with plenty of desiccant packets to prevent sullying of the lovely leather material. The leather looks, feels, and smells beautiful. Included was a velvety, light-gray, drawstring pouch featuring the charming brand logo on front. Both leather pieces fit comfortably inside the pouch. The brand logo is also stamped elegantly onto both the recoil pad and the barrel mount. Two pairs of sturdy, metal, screw-tight pins were included for fastening both pieces tightly shut after lacing them up. The bottom-inside of the recoil pad features 4 thick, durable-feeling foam pads that can be removed, which is helpful when performing maintenance on the leather, such as oiling it. The pieces fit my rifle perfectly, looking gorgeous. Since the gun my husband put these pieces on doesn’t have much recoil, he mostly just likes that he can attach a strap to it, so he can now sling the rifle over his shoulder conveniently.

The wraps have that classic western feel that you really can't get any way else. The buttstock wrap has foam blocks inside to act as a recoil buffer, and it works pretty good.The install on these are a little tedious, but sort of fun if you're into it. You need to remove the string on the wrap, insert your rifle, or wrap it, and re-lace it how you'd like. The leather sling mounts have a rivet that screws together, and you have to pass it through the strap to secure it, it feels pretty solid, all said and done. The wraps does a good job both making sling mount points, and giving that classical western flare without screwing into your stock.

I inherited a Marlin Lever from my dad, and it's still as basic is the day it came.I hope he doesn't mind me adding this to it, because it's so handsome and allows me to add a carry strap without altering the 60 year old weapon.The system is easy to install with laces.

What can I saw. Great craftsmanship all around. The stitching is perfect and the leather feels like saddle quality. Got it on a Rossi R95 Triple Black and couldn't be more pleased with it. Has removable foam inserts if you'd like to have less padding.Doesn't cover stock sling attachment points so you can still use whatever you like.
