Before going on a high volume dove hunt in Argentina a few years ago, I tested several different brands of recoil pads on a Beretta Silver Pigeon 20 ga. O/U: Kickeez, Pachmayr, Beretta (two models), Gooey Pad, and Limbsaver.The Limbsaver worked best for me during the test, so I used during the trip and shot 3,000 rounds in four days.The result was some slightly abraded skin on my shoulder, but no recoil fatigue. And the Silver Pigeon 20 ga. is not a heavy shotgun.Check it out and see if it's right for you.

Used this to put a custom recoil pad on my old Rem 1100 12g Wood stock. Worked perfect. Shot 3 boxes of 11/4 ounce shells at doves and never felt a thing at the end of the day.

This recoil pad will help you out a lot if you got a stock that has a freaking rock for padding. I had a gunsmith fit it for me fo more precision.

If there is a better recoil pad out there somewhere I have not found it. This pad mounts very easily and really asorbs recoil better than any other pad that I have used and I have used a few. (Few = more than 2 but less than 7)
