Fragile and not fun too put on. It does look good,even with the crack I accidentally put in it installing.I reckon if I installed these on a regular basis it would become easy . But I don't and it wasn't.

I have it mounted, and it looks good. Am about to head out on a 1,000 mile round trip, in hot weather. Only time will tell whether the double stick tape mounting will keep the hood protector in place. Mounting hint: run a piece of masking tape down the center of the hood and up onto the protector when you are doing the original positioning. Then draw a solid line down the center of the tape. Cut the tape at the intersection of the hood and protector when you remove the protector to prep the hood surface for mounting. Finally, when you get ready to permanently mount the protector, just line up the solid line on the 2 pieces of tape, and the protector will be perfectly centered.

Description did not state that this was to be taped on and when I laid it out on the hood it did not even go across the hood. I do not see how something taped flat on the hood can protect from or deflect rocks. In addition, it appeared that it had already been returned by someone else as box was oddly taped shut and interior bag was tied in a knot.

Firstly this hood protector did not fit my 2025 Honda Pilot Touring even though I checked the Amazon fit guide for confirmation. Secondly, Weathertech will deduct 50% of the original cost for your return which in my opinion is grossly unfair since the item did not fit...therefore due to Weathertech's gross negligence regarding customer service, I will never purchase anything from Weathertech!!!
