These are great, old-school gadgets that I'm glad you can still find. I use them to dab Shiitake mushroom plugs drilled into oak logs, and to paint the cut ends with beeswax. For a dozen logs I only used 2, so they will last me a long time.

Maybe using these things to clean my ears wasn't my smartest move? They're really difficult to jam in. Hard to pull out. They do clean though.4 stars.
