Put a little locktite on the bolt at the bottom or it will loosen frequently from smacking stamps. nice solid nylon with good weight. The faces are well machined and the handles feel good.

I was thinking for awhile to get this soft punch leather tooling mallet. This one came in a set of 2 mallets for about which comes out to about $8.50 each, The built quality feel really nice and solid, The medium brown handle also came freshly vanished as the varnish smell is still on the handle like it was made a week ago. The weight on this mallet will work excellent for cold leather stamping. These came assembled and well packed in bubble wrap. I rate this pair of leather work mallets - 5 STARS for built quality and price for the set. The color brown looks exactly like the photo on the Amazon ad. I like it!
