Holds enough starter to make 2 large loafs of bread. Has a standard glass lid with gasket, plus a bamboo lid to seal it off completely.

This jar was an impulse for sourdough, and it is worth it. SO much easier to feed -- the shape of the jar makes it much cleaner. The bummer is the extra glass lid -- I can't use it with the sourdough, and I don't want to throw it out... so weird clutter in my drawer. But the jar is so worth it!
