I always wanted one of these and with spring here and weeds popping up in driveway it was the perfect time. Weed killer has gone through the roof and I need a bunch with a large driveway so burning them seemed a better option. Arrived an a couple pieces that simply attached together and then screw on your mini propane tank. Slowly turn gas on and then use the self igniter and your on your way. You can adjust the flow with dial to desired flame. Went up and down driveway burning the grass and weeds with ease, easy to hold curved handle made weeding actually addicting. I later used it to start my burn barrel ablaze with small branches so it will be my new favorite tool!!

Love that this works with the smaller tanks, much easier to use when doing spots around the yard, when camping, or when trying to start a fire. Found it balanced well with a tank attached, easy to use with one hand as well. My only real complaint is that the trigger is on the lower end of the pipe, which might just be a safety issue, but it I have to pull it up toward me to light, which feels less safe overall. Do like that it comes apart so it's easier to pack away.

I have been hand picking or spraying chemicals to control weeds that pop up in driveway and steps to my house. I had seen a similar torch set up used by a friend so thought would give it a try. So far it has worked as advertised. I have a device that lets me refill disposable propane canisters from my 20 lb. tank (available on Amazon) so don't have to buy new disposable tanks. Also I don't have to use chemical weed killers that have associated health risks. At 79 years old also no longer on my knees to pick weeds.

I recently tried the EASITALY weed torch, and it has been a game changer for dealing with weeds and various outdoor tasks. The instructions emphasize not turning the gas valve knob excessively before ignition, which is important for safe operation. By turning it slightly and waiting to hear a small amount of gas, I was able to ignite it without any issues. The torch's construction using ultrahigh strength refractory steel is impressive. It feels durable and well-made, perfect for tasks like burning weeds, roofing, and even treating wood. It heats up quickly and easily, making it effective at tackling tough jobs like melting snow and ice or thawing pipes. The new-style self-igniter is a significant improvement over older models I’ve used in the past. It ignites the flame quickly and safely, and the adjustable flame control valve makes it easy to regulate the fire size based on my needs. The rubber cushioned grip is another highlight. It’s more durable than foam or PVC and offers a slip-resistant feel that allows for maximum control and comfort during longer use. The ergonomic design means I can operate it without my hand getting fatigued, which is definitely a plus. It's also very lightweight, which is a huge plus. This powerful propane weed torch delivers impressive heat—up to 80,000 BTUs and over 3600°F—effectively burning away unwanted weeds in my garden and along sidewalks.I appreciate that it’s compatible with both 1 lb propane cylinders and larger standard tanks, providing flexibility depending on my project size or duration.Overall, the EASITALY weed torch is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to efficiently manage weeds and take on various outdoor projects. I highly recommend it!

Nice little torch with the igniter/striker switch in a perfect spot. Feels really well made and solid, the bend is perfect and a smaller propane bottle fits with ease. I wish it would have come with the adapter for a 5 gallon tank but it is what it is. Has done a good job so far and feels safe (as much as holding fire in your hand can) enough to wander around the backyard taking out weeds.

It's spring in the Midwest so that means it's 75 one day and 25 the next followed by a week of torrential rain. I have not had the chance to put this to a full day of use yet (just quick 20 minute test run) so I might have to update the review if I run into any issues after prolonged use once the weather simmers down a bit. My dad let me borrow his weed torch last summer so I've used one of these in the past for torching weeds that creep up between the cracks in the driveway, in the rocks of our garden bed, and for tricky spots along the side of the house. What I noticed right away when I got this one all set up is that the ignition is not a "trigger" style ignition up where your hand will be (like the one I used last summer); It is all the way down the shaft of the torch, closer to the torch tip. I can't help but wonder why because this is not only inconvenient but also maybe (MAYBE?) a bit of a safety concern. I don't want my hand closer to the source of the flame when I'm lighting this thing; I want my hand and arm as far away from the tip of this thing as possible. I don't understand why it's designed this way and, honestly, I feel a little leery about using it for that reason.Once you get it going, you can adjust the flame to target your creeping enemies and eliminate them without having to kneel/ bend/ pull them by hand or without using harsh chemicals. The torch won't completely obliterate weeds, mind you; You will still have to remove the torched remains but that is much easier to do once the weed has been weakened (torched). In all, this can be an intimidating tool to use if you have never worked with a gas flame but watch a couple videos and you'll be fine. It's more cost effective and better for your health and the environment to do than using chemicals to remove pesky weeds.

Very easy to set up and operate. Wildly satisfying and effective for weeding. A perfect option for weed control without pesticide. Price was reasonable.
