This a nice set of weighted PVC balls for baseball training. They feel really sold like the PVC material is thick and very durable. The weighted balls are great for younger players to help teach them to follow through on their swing, as a lot of kids just try to "meet" the ball with the bat rather than swinging through it completely. If they try to just swing and meet the ball, the heavy ball will take their bat backwards providing instant feedback. After a couple swings hitting the weighted balls you can see the kids improve and start to swing through the ball, which will translate to more power and farther hits at the plate. The balls are also useful for older kids to help strengthen their throwing muscles with the extra weight, although I would advise being very careful going that route because its very easy to tear up a kid's arm if they aren't strong enough to throw the heavy balls. I would not do any weighted ball training with anyone under 14 years old unless they are extremely advanced and have already been doing strength training. All in all this is a great set of weighted balls for all your baseball training needs!

Nicer than expected. These rubber balls have a pump valve to pump them in case they deflate and are excellent for use in small spaces since they cannot be hit very far. Go ahead and use them in your small back yard. But mostly, I got them to teach my younger kids to take a better grip on the bat and to swing harder and they work perfectly for that. They will self adjust as they hit them.Though they advertise that they can be used for pitching I do not recommend it for younger kids. Kids can easily injure themselves throwing these. Stick to normal baseballs for younger kids. Older 12+ kids should understand not to overthrow and pull a muscle... I think... actually no they are lunatics too. Maybe wait till high school to use these for warmup. Up to you.Overall very nice product.

Great practice ball. The weight is noticeable, but it seems right to not cause injury as a practice ball. I would suggest you warm up with a traditional weight ball before you start with these. The size is just like a standard baseball. These are grippy and somewhat rubbery feeling. The good part about that is that it makes the ball durable and it helps with catching. That extra weight can cause the ball to slide more in a glove, so the extra grippy material helped make sure it is catch-able. We were using these to practice throwing and increase strength for throwing and they work really great for this. I dont like them as much for practicing catching as I dont feel the behave the same as a baseball when fielding.

The balls arrived exactly as shown in the pictures, and everything in the box was great, there was nothing missing or defective. Each ball weighs 16 oz and measures 2.85 inches in diameter.I got these weighted balls to help my sons with their baseball training. The weighted balls not only help build strength, since hitting a heavier ball forces hitters to remain strong throughout the contact zone and during the entire swing, but they also improve swing path and feel. Additionally, they enhance the experience of bat-ball contact, leading to better hitting.Training with weighted balls effectively mimics the impact conditions of hitting a pitched baseball without straining my arm from trying to simulate a high-speed pitch for them, a simple side toss from close range can still emulate the feel of a pitch due to the weight these have. This sort of training significantly improves hitting and bat-ball contact providing immediate feedback on whether a hitter is making solid contact or not and encourages batters to extend their swings and follow through completely, since if you were to hit the ball incorrectly, it spins excessively and flattens out, clearly indicating that the batter didn't drive the ball properly.Plus, the main reason I love these balls is that they're perfect for someone with limited space to practice with like me, they keep practice fun and simple.Overall, they are one of the best tools available for training I have.

I have another set of balls by a different company. I have a kid on my team that I coach and wanted to give a set to a player that I coach on 10u. This set does not come with a bag to carry them. It's literally a box of 6 balls. They are nice besides that, but I think a way to carry the balls is fairly important.
