Step 1: Clean the door first
Clean the bottom of door firstly
Step2: Stick the velcro tape on the door bottom edge
Measuring length firstly, then cut this velcro tape and make it same length to door, Stick the velcro tape on the door bottom edge.
Step3: Apply the door draft stopper to the hook tape
Place the door draft stopper and make it closed to the hook tape which sticked to bottom of door
Step 4: Hang up the door draft stopper when not use

Fits perfectly without having to stick anything to my floor or door. I can easily move this from one door or window area, if needed.Stays put and blocks drafts. Looks very nice when placed at night. I use the loop at the end to hang it from the doorknob during the day.

We bought 2 of these in different sizes, to put at a little bit under the front of furniture to keep our kitten/cat from putting her toys under and then trying to crawl under herself. Works very well and stays were it is placed.

Received this tonight and tried it out. Fits the door just fine, but seemed lighter than my old draft stopper, so I weighed it. According to the spec picture, the 38in was supposed to weigh 3.4 pounds, of 54.4 oz. The one I received was 2 pounds, 6 ounces, or 38 ounces. That means that it was a full pound lighter than advertised, so I'm disappointed. My old one isn't sold any more, and I searched a good bit to find one that wasn't advertised as 2.1 or 2.2 pounds, finally settling on this one based on the weight, color and style. The latter two parameters were met handily, but the weight was, unfortunately, sub-par.Construction appears to be quite good, above average material and well sewn, too. I'm going to try and find some additional glass beads to put in it to get the weight up to where it should have been, but this ought to have come properly filled from the vendor.
